I'd like to ask if anyone has had experience of using VMWare Workstation on a Windows7 Enterprise host with bitlocker.
I have a laptop running an i7 with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, so native performance should be good without bitlocker, however I'm sceptical that it will introduce an unacceptable overhead when hosting multiple VM sessions.
I need to be able to run two or more VM's simultaneously (both windows server and headless Linux) and sometimes with Visual studio on the host too. The SSD does remove some latency but I'm not convinced that bitlocker will have a limited effect.
Anyone using a similar set-up ?
