Hi,
I have been offered to change my laptop at work currently using a Dell 6330, and have been offered a Dell 7440, I love the form factor of these new machines, but it's missing eSata, which I currently use to connect an external SSD to use with workstation as I can also use it on my home machine.
I understand moving from eSata to USB3 for external connectivity could be slower, but is this something that will be greatly noticeable with using it just for VM's? I am more concerned with the loss of I/O rather than max throughput.
Any advice would be great?
Thanks
