Network configuration problem with Workstation 10

Hi,

I have a problem with configuration of a local network (without internet).

I need a working VMware Workstation (or at least Player) with Bridged connection with the two physical NICs, here the info:

- Host machine: Windows 7, two physical NICs (one for TX and one for RX), static IP, no internet connection (only local network).

- Guest machine: Ubuntu (for the moment 12.04 LTS)

- in the Network configuration of Win7 i see the two local connection of the NICs + VMnet1 (host-only) + VMnet8 (NAT). The VMnet0 is missing.

- I have installed at first the VMware player 6.0.1 + the Network Editor taken from the Workstation installer. In the Network Editor I see the VMnet0 but not in the list of the connections of Win7. I tried all possible configurations: Automatic Bridged, selection of one of the two NIC, disabled one NIC, check/uncheck VMware Virtual Protocol in the properties of the Networks, etc...... but nothing. the VM starts and remains a lot of time in "Waiting for network connection...".

- After I've tryed with the Workstation the same thing but nothing... also tryed to uninstall/reinstall player and after the workstation, reboot the host machine.. nothing...

can someone help me please? if you need other info ask.

Please is very important.

Thanks a lot
