Hi, I have a windows 8.1 ent. x64 with VMWorkstation 11.
2 Physical NICS & 4 vmnet0 through vmnet3 virtual adapters
1. I binded 1 Phy adapter with vmnet2 and able to access my physical NAS ( 20.30.40.x/24)
2. I connected vmnet0 to my nested ESXi as management nic (10.20.30.x/24)
Interestingly the IP assigned to vmnet0 is 10.20.30.1 on my host.
When I ping from my win8 machine I am able to ping 10.20.30.1 but when I ping from my ESXi (10.20.30.31 I get RTO).
Is this normal behaviour ??
Please advise.
