I am currently running a host system Windows 2012 R2 with the following specs:
32gb Ram
Os on Raid 1 146gb
VMs on Raid 1 146gb
I can not get vms using more than 4gb of ram to run and I get the error that there is not enough physical memory.
however, checking the task manager, only 4gb of ram is being used by the host.
i tried the solutions available on the web including:
1. run as administrator
2. uninstalling the oct 2014 update
3. adding the vmmon.disablehostparameters line
None of these work. I do not want to enable memory swapping since I should have plenty of free ram to utilize for the vms and I do not want to sacrifice performance.
Any other suggestions?
