I am running VMware Workstation 11 on Windows 7. I have created a virtual machine which is running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.6 and am running out of user space. Instead of expanding my existing virtual machine to create more space, can I create a new virtual disk, formatted for Linux, and mount on my RHEL Desktop? By creating a second virtual disk, I can always move it to an external drive if local disk space get low. If this is possible, does anyone have instructions on how to create and format a new virtual disk under Linux?
Thanks....
