i have vmware workstation 10 running on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
I am not able to see the shared folder in the linux machine.
On OpenSuse 13.2 i event can't install vmware tools or at least not what is required for shared folders.
(I always have some missing headers or files when installing)
On latest Ubunt 14.04.2, VMWare Tools installed, but shared folder not visible.
On my windows 8.1 hist, shared folders are in d:\vmshared with name vmshared.
It is set in the preferences and also in the vm guest settings/shared folders.
What is the secret to get shared folders running on linux guests ?
