I just tried out my upgrade and was glad to see support for UEFI. I created a VM from a dd image file of a physical disk that contained Win 8 x64 and UEFI. The VM booted to Windows normally. The disk has 5 partitions, and I tried to map the system partition as writable. Instead, VMware mapped the EFI partition, and then blue-screened my system with the BAD_POOL_HEADER error. In the attached screenshot, I tried to map Partition 4, and VMware mapped Partition 5. Am I under the wrong impression? Does VMware 11 support mapping GPT disks? Thanks.
