I have a ovf format VM which is about 3GB . The vmdk of the VM is of 70GB however only 3GB of the provisioned space is currently being occupied.
After converting the VM (originally in vCenter) into ovf format and importing this ovf into VMware Workstation , I observe that during the import the entire 70GB is being occupied by the VM. Is there way to import the ovf format VM into VMware Workstation without the vmdisk getting expanded to its provisioned space ?
