I have been going back and forth between using VirtualBox and VMware Player for some time now gaining experience. I finally thought it was time to take it to the next level and purchased Workstation 10. I am running an i5 proccessor, I just upgraded to 16G RAM and installed a new SSD. I installed workstation onto the SSD since the SSD is my primary HD now but all my guest OS's are stored on a 1TB 7200 RPM which is my 3rd HD. Ever sense the upgrade my virtualization has slowed down and even crashed regularly. Same thing happens with both player and virtualbox so I know it aint workstation. My BIOS has virtualization enabled. Please advise I am a IT student that needs to know how this works.
